I’m such a little kid because I love to dress up for Easter. It’s always a great time to try out a new look or play with spring trends. My easter dresses these past few years have always been fun. Navy polka dots, black and white graphic print, and my favorite a Prabal Gurung for Target brightly colored floral dress. One thing I will say is that I never even consider the weather when my Easter outfit. I go straight for spring trends and normally open toe shoes. So luckily, this year Easter is in April. I’m leaning toward this trend for Easter because it reads so effortlessly elegant. This reiteration of the trend is sleeker and less in your face than previous reiterations.

I know… I Know… Floral? For spring? Groundbreaking. But this’s years florals are big, boho or retro. Now, with any of these prints, it’s very easy to skew tacky or old. So make sure the color scheme is are bright and clear, not murky or dated. Watch for quality fabrics and most of all fit! Most of my easter dresses were under $20 (yes! $20) dollars, but they were of quality fabrics and they fit well.

Now, this one depends on your church. If you know you’re church mother is going to pop you for a wearing your shoulders out, don’t try it and blame your failure on me. You can try this trend out by wearing a shawl over your shoulders. Or an alternative is a thing strapped dress with drapey sleeves.
