e.l.f influester voxbox unboxing
*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
Just in time for holiday shopping and events, I got this influenster VoxBox in the mail. And it’s another *really good* box. As I’ve mentioned, I love both high-end and drugstore beauty products; I really just look for quality. Elf is a great drugstore for both makeup newbies and pros. All of their products are super affordable and widely available. Not to mention of good quality and effectiveness. Soooooo I pretty much screamed when I got this box of five different products I’ve never tried before. BLESS UP! So let’s open this bad boy up!
Masks are hot right now! With their expansion into skincare, you know e.l.f. had to get on it. And this mask looks really cool. It goes on as gel and starts to fizzle into bubbles. I am absolutely putting this on snapchat because I am a child and this looks fun AF.
I was expecting a Merlot colored lip, but this was more of a rose. It's decently pigmented and creamy (not matte lol) Perfect fall lip color alert! The great selling point about this it’s only $3?! And it comes in multiple shades! Yes. It doubles as a liner or lipstick and has a built in sharpener. And did I mentions it’s only THREE DOLLARS!
I don’t really wear bronzer (and this is not dark enough for me), but I do love me some highlighter! This is more of a silver toned highlight, which I don't like. I go more for a gold to enhance my undertones. However, this is the best color I've used for my Cupid bow's highlight. The yellow gold colors can be toooo much and this silvery one is more natural. If you’re wondering why you haven’t seen this duo in store, it’s exclusive to elf.com so head over there.
I actually have the clear formula of this lip exfoliator, and I can not stop raving about it! Cold air and drying matte lipsticks can wreck havoc on your lips. But this $3 scrub gently but effectively gets everything everything off your lips and the side of the your mouth. Seriously, it leaves the perfect canvas for your lippies. Not only is this exfoliator tinted a mint color, it had a cool mint flavor which I guess plumps your lips. But thin lips is an emotion I've never experienced.
This box was right on time because I just lost my NYX primer and didn’t want to re-up on my Hourglass supply. But here comes elf’s primer in the clutch. Needless to say, I’m excited to try this out! It’s a very smooth silicone formula that spreads easily and leaves an airbrushed canvas. It's not a dupe for smashbox's primer however. Yes, they are more silcone, but this one is thinner.
