Fall 2016 Beauty Wishlist
I'll admit it. I've been barefaced for most of the summer. My oily skin just won't let me be great. So one benefit of the cooler weather is that I experiment more with makeup knowing it won't melt off my face. For my fall 2016 beauty needs, I'm really feeling metallic lipsticks as well as vampy cheeks and lips, highlight, highlight, highlight and matte skin. I'm sure the list will grow as time progresses, but here is my current Fall 2016 beauty wishlist!
Jouer Lipstick in Snapdragon and Dahlia
I began seeing this all over Instagram before the launch. Snapdragon is out at the time this article was published, but Dahlia (the perfect velvety vampy red purple) isn't yet. I love the colors and the packaging is definitely IG worthy!
My actual Colourpop wishlist is probably longer than this, but I'm trying to keep it under control! I love my current Colourpop highlighter (Avalon) and I want to try some more shades and some more metallic lipsticks.
I have two Makeup Revolution blush and highlight palettes and wanted to try some more of their products. They're very affordable and very pigmented. I stumbled across this baked berry blush on Ulta and kinda totally completely fell in love.
Shea moisture just gets me. They've expanded their skin care line to makeup wipes including my beloved African Black Soap. Another automatic purchase.
I have Hourglass's liquid to powder super matte foundation, but it can be a bit too drying and it's kind of a hassle putting on. So I'm excited for this stick formula. It has wider shade range and costs less. Bless up.
The main draw for me getting this foundation is the shade range and price $25. I've always paid upwards of $40 for my foundation so $25 for a good foundation in my shade range. Thank you makeup goddesses.
I switched from the orange Real Techniques sponge to the Beauty Blender for one reason. I couldn't get precision blending in the corner under my eye! The tip wasn't skinny enough. Buuuuut this new sponge has that tip for my inner corner and is half the price of the Beauty Blender. I'm not fully sold on the marble swirl pattern. I get what Real Techniques is going for, but I'll have to see this product in person first. It's supposed to be launching in Ulta soon.
