15 Wearable Looks From The Couture Shows
I live for the haute couture shows. Haute couture is the literal height of fashion. A combination of incredible technical skill and artistic wild. But of course with this combination, the looks aren't always wearable. And that's okay - often these looks are just art. Haute couture looks aren't meant to be mass produced and with these individually handcrafted pieces often topping $20,000 each, only the Marjorie Harvey's of the world can afford to wear them anyway.
But each season, particularly in the past few year, we are seeing more and more wearable looks on the runway. These still aren't your everyday wear to work outfits, but you might see a look or two on a celebrity red carpet or on a lady who luncheons on Fifth Avenue.
Check out 15 of my favorite wearable couture looks from the Fall 2016 shows in Paris.
