My Fall 2015 Makeup Haul

My Fall 2015 Makeup Haul

Last week I was having a conversation with this guy about men's secret love of contouring, weaves, and fake butts. (They swear they don't, but they lust after women who rock all three.) During the conversation, he said, "I like women like you who don't wear makeup." If you know me, you know I made a face (I can't help it lol), laughed and said, "I wear makeup." "Wait... you wear makeup?" I fluttered my false eyelashes and grinned with my lacquered lips and said "Yes. I have make-up on now and every other time you've seen me." He looked a bit puzzled and I assured him I still look like myself when I take it off.

At first I felt some kinda way. I'm a beauty blogger! I spend a lot of my disposable income and time on this make-up! This silly man! Why doesn't he know?! I don't wake-up with this perfected cat eye bruh! This concealer ain't bake itself!

Then I did an internal hair flip. I realized my makeup look is soooo natural, the average man can't even tell. *insert finger painting emoji*

Yes I have on make-up lol

I normally go for a natural look:  slight undereye highlight, natural brows and lashes, thin liner. Normally don't even wear foundation or eyeshadow. And contour? No sir. Not me. But this fall I have been trying to amp up my look. I finally (kinda) learned how to apply lashes. My lip color game is popping. I've even begun drawing my brows in while I'm growing them out. I haven't spent tooooo much money on makeup this fall, but here is what I've hauled over the last few months

Lashes: I've been wanting to wear lashes for a few months, but I literally just got the hang of it about two weeks ago. And I am in love! I bought 3 pairs of Salon Perfect lashes from Walmart (natural 110, natural 45 and demi wispies) and a few pairs from ELF along with DUO glue.

Mascara + liner: Upon the recommendation from my friends, I tried out two Loreal mascaras: the original Manga formula, and the new Rock formula. I also bought a white NK eyeliner pencil from the beauty supply store and a gold NYX liner from Ulta. These two light colors in the inner corners, help my eyes pop

Brows: I want the Anastasia brow dip and pencil and powder. But since I am the opposite of balling, I opted for some cheap pencils from the beauty supply store: NYX in dark brown and some no-name brand I got just because it had a spoolie. And I got another tube of LA Girl's Pro longwear concealer for my under eyes and under brow.

Lips: I was soooo excited to try out Colourpop lippies. The first day I got them, I immediately swatched them for my friends lol. I got two ultra matte liquid lipsticks (Lychee and Zipper), three matte lipsticks (Pitch, Bichette, and Lumiere) and two liners (Ellarie and BFF2). You can see some swatches here. And I finally got my hands on everyone's favorite fall lippy, NYX's Copenhagen and a random red liner from the beauty supply store.

Cheeks: I just started rocking blush earlier this year and love the color payoff of Milani's baked blushes. I bought Milani's Red Vino on sale at Walgreens to go with darker fall lippies and I have been loving the rich tones.

What beauty products have you been loving for fall? What is on your beauty wish list?
