Now that you've read my post about spring's hottest shoe trend, the high heeled mule, you might be wondering how to style them. So I'm bringing you three full outfits, revolving around the high heeled mule.
Outfit One (above)
Frame these Rachel Zoe Heels with a simple Topshop midi skirt. The length is trend right and the simplicity allows the focus of the outfit to remain on the shoes. Add in a classy black boatneck sweater from Rowme and a coordinating statement Bar III necklace (on sale at Macy's). Mix in some much needed spring color with a pale blue Rebecca Minkoff clutch and Topshop watch. Finish off with complementary orange lip, also from Topshop

.Starting with the snakeskin Calvin Klein heels from Macy's we're going to build a cool girl all denim look. Using pegged skinny or boyfriend cut jeans like these distressed Paige jeans, we're to again frame the shoes but rolling up or pegging the hem. Add in a chambray shirt of a similar, but still different hue like this Isabel Marant shirt. If the shirt isn't fitted correctly, try tying the bottom. Keeping with a light theme, opt for silver and gray pieces like this Henri Bendel bag (on sale for 50% off), Dorothy Perkins hoop earrings, and a Topshop ring. Finish off with a berry lip from Lorac.
This is a classic preppy outfit with a twist. Trade in your traditional pumps for these gorgeous Gianvito Rossi calf hair mules. Again frame the heels with cropped pants, like these preppy white trousers by 3.1 Phillip Lim. No preppy outfit is complete without a pink Polo sweater and a Kate Spade watch. Finish off with a Madewell leather tote, Micheal Kors tortoise shell and rosy Milani lipstick.
