What To Wear To A Winter Wedding: Part One
A quick scroll of my Facebook timeline shows that literally everyone on the face of the earth is recently married, recently engaged and / or is planning a wedding. Everyone except for me. Which is perfectly fine because I greatly enjoy sleeping in the middle on my bed and cooking for one. Syke... I don't cook. Anywho, with the other 7,999,999,999 people on earth getting married, that's a lot of weddings for us all to attend. So no wonder I get a million questions about what to wear to a wedding. I have a few posts here about what to wear during a summer wedding, but for whatever reason, people get married during the winter as well. Because nothing says 'I love you' like making your new spouse, your wedding party and your bestie's newborn, freeze during your nuptials.
Now back to the fashion. I've been obsessed with this Tibi resort skirt since the first time I saw it in Saks. Ob. Sessed. It's the perfect length, perfect amount of poof and most importantly, it has pockets! It's just the right mix of elegance, femininity and fun... With pockets ^_^ Another stand out piece in the Tibi resort collection is this embellished crop top with cap sleeves. And this chic, black and white combination is just crying out for a super feminine styling. Start off with red pumps, like these Jimmy Choo Anouk pumps , and pair it with a classic red lip like Chanel rouge. Pick up on the silver embellishments with silver statement earrings (like this amazing ODLR number) and a statement Reed Krakoff caged clutch. Finally, finish off with a luxe looking fur coat (or in this case, an Alice + Olivia faux fur coat) because cold.
