Mademoiselle's DIY: An Easy Earring Tutorial

An-Easy-Earring-DIY

A few weeks ago as I was preparing for brunch I realized I didn't have any earrings to go with my outfit. Before I had a total melt down, I spotted a random pair of buttons that would look perfect as earrings. So I went to work. In less than the time I took for me to shower and get dressed, I had a new (one of a kind!) pair of earrings. And you can too. Easy as 1-2-3! All you need is a pair of buttons, craft pliers, an earring post, super or hot glue and an earring back.

1) Use the pliers to break the back of the earring. You want as flat a surface as possible to attach the post.

2) Use the glue to attach the earrings post. Let dry for 30-60 mins for maximum hold.

3) Attach an earring back (or a small piece of an eraser if you're in a pinch) and voila and brand new pair of earrings!

How easy was that?! Are you going to try it? Let me know!
