Silk Shirt: Thrifted $8. Purple Skirt: Thrifted $3.50. Belt: The Limited (Thrifted) $1. Black Tights: Target $8. Heels: Frye from Nordstrom Rack $42. Bag (not pictured): Pierre Balmain (Thrifted) $20. Gold Hoops: Lauren Ralph Lauren (borrowed from mom) $32. Dress Coat (not pictured): Tahari (Thrifted) $8. Total: $122.50.

This is outfit actually much greater than the picture eludes. The light in my parents house is awful. This definitely makes me question my make-up and outfit choices in high school. Anyway. I planned this outfit out a few weeks prior to wearing it, but had to postpone it until that day. I'd recently bought the purple pencil skirt from my local thrift store. I admit I didn't try it on in the shirt (which I should have). Upon trying it on the skirt was a bit tight around my lower stomach but seemed to fit everywhere else. I decided to "camouflage" my stomach by wearing a longer shirt that would drape over it. My favorite silk shirt fit this bill and the slight yellow tone made the purple skirt pop making it the perfect choice for this outfit. I am currently obsessed with my new Frye shoes, (originally $280, got them for $42 at Nordstrom Rack), and decided to wear them with black tights. To fit the shoes a bit more with the rest outfit, I wore a brown belt (which cinched my waist) and my Balmain bag (not pictured). I got a lot of complement from the classy older ladies at my church. (Those are the best right?) The best being "How thin you look!" Talk about turning a flaw on its head!
